Delicious way to make Bones Stronger

 
The following is a delicious way to make bones stronger so that we will avoid the risk of osteoporosis, a way to drink tomato juice every day.

Lycopene, the antioxidant content in tomato fruit, believed by experts to cause the bones to grow stronger. Previously lycopene has been known to be beneficial to prevent prostate cancer in men and also prevent heart disease.

In a study conducted in Canada, the experts asked 60 women were postmenopausal or around the age of 50-60 years to stop the consumption of tomato products from the daily menu for a month.
Apparently this increases the levels of N-telopeptide in the blood, the body chemical that is released in the blood when there is a broken bone. Then, during four months of research respondents are given tomato juice containing 15 mg of lycopene per day, as well as plus 35 mg capsule of lycopene. As a control group of respondents who are getting a placebo capsule.

The results of N-telopeptide levels in women who drank tomato juice or lycopene capsules plummeted. But the benefits were not obtained by the women who took placebo capsules.

As a precaution, experts recommend the consumption of two glasses of tomato juice every day. Results were published in the journal Osteoporosis International
